This Privacy Policy explains how OsheR Collective (“OsheR”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit oshercollective.com, take our Business Diagnostic, or register for one of our Business Missions.
Who we are

What personal data we collect, and why
Free Business Diagnostic
When you complete the free Business Diagnostic, we ask for your first name, business email address, business name (optional), country, and your answers to the 25 assessment questions. We use this information to calculate your score, place you in a cohort, and send your personalised report and next steps to the email address you provide. We do not sell this information to anyone.
Business Missions and payments
If you register for a Business Mission (e.g. the China Sourcing Mission or Brazil Business Mission) and pay by PayPal, your payment and subscription details are collected and processed directly by PayPal under its own privacy policy — we only receive your name, email address, and subscription ID to confirm and manage your booking. We never see or store your card or PayPal account credentials.
If you pay by direct bank transfer (EFT), you email us your proof of payment together with your name and chosen package, which we use solely to confirm your place on the mission and manage your payment schedule.
Direct contact
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we collect whatever information you choose to share (e.g. your name, contact details, and the content of your message) in order to respond to you.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our site uses a small number of cookies:
- Language preference: if you use the language switcher, a cookie remembers your chosen language for future visits (via Google Translate / GTranslate).
- WordPress core cookies: standard, strictly necessary cookies used if you log in to the site (this applies to our team, not regular visitors).
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run OsheR Collective, and only share the data each of them needs to do their job:
- PayPal — processes mission payments and subscriptions.
- Brevo — delivers transactional emails from our site (e.g. diagnostic results, confirmations).
- Google Translate / GTranslate — powers the language switcher on our site.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Our website and database are hosted on our own server infrastructure in Germany. Some data may also be processed outside your country by the service providers listed above (for example, PayPal and Google), each under their own privacy safeguards.
How long we keep your data
We keep diagnostic and mission registration data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, respond to you, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see “Your rights” below.
Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to: see what personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; or stop using it for a specific purpose. To exercise any of these rights, email info@oshercollective.com and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across our site. No online service can be 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and only keep what we need.
Children’s privacy
OsheR Collective is intended for business founders and is not directed at, or knowingly collecting data from, children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
